Aylesbury MP & Minister for Foreign Affairs David Lidington pursuing plan to attract new employers to Aylesbury
Following David Lidington’s discussions with the District and County Councils and to SEEDA about the need for an urgent plan of action to attract new employers to Aylesbury, David dropped into the new Aylesbury Enterprise & Innovation Centre on 14th December to take a tour of the facility and understand more about the business support programs available to entrepreneurs, local business owners and company bosses seeking to start up or relocate into Aylesbury Vale.
Max Campbell - Managing Director of Aylesbury Enterprise & Innovation Centre said “David is a very pro-active MP and following the recent Lloyds Group job losses he is keen to understand what business support is available to deliver the new jobs Aylesbury needs”, Max continued “David stated that the Enterprise Centre facility was first class and he would be encouraging potential new businesses from both inside and outside of the Vale to visit the centre as a good starting place to any new venture setting up in the area”.
David added “The government has designated Aylesbury as a growth area and business support initiatives such as the Aylesbury Enterprise & Innovation Centre along with their superb office rental facilities are important to the ongoing economic development plan of the town”
