The Inaugural BEDFORDSHIRE HOT JELLY!

Aylesbury Enterprise & Innovation Centre in Gatehouse Way, Aylesbury will host the inaugural 'Buckinghamshire Hot Jelly' 9am-5pm on 22nd Sept 2011!

So what is a 'Jelly'?: Jelly is a casual coworking event (unlike the wobbly gelatin variety!), where freelancers, home workers & people running small businesses meet up in order to get out of their normal space, get that all important element of human interaction, meet some new people and work together in a social environment.

Jelly is a mixture of work, chat, comparing of ideas, passing on tips & help and maybe sometimes collaboration on a new project.

(Jelly differs from networking in that the aim is not to find new clients, pitch your business or to sell. Try that at Jelly and you will not be popular).

So where did all this 'Jelly' stuff come from?: Jelly was established in 1996 when two New York freelancers were talking about the major drawback of working alone; namely the lack of human interaction. They decided to invite a group of freelancers to bring their laptops and work together in their apartment for the day, and called it Jelly as they were eating Jelly beans at the time! (Just as well they were not eating cabbage!)

IT'S FREE including Office, Broadband, Parking, Tea, Coffee, Water & even a JELLY lunch (you can also bring CAKE!). THERE'S ONLY 10 PLACES, SO SECURE YOUR PLACE NOW by dropping Max Campbell an email on max@aeicentre.com

Date & Time: 9am-5pm 22nd Sept 2011

Venue: Aylesbury Enterprise & Innovation Centre, Barclays House, Gatehouse Way, Aylesbury, Bucks HP19 8DB
