Aylesbury Leads The Way and Feels the Buzz of Recovery!

Last October The Hot Office's Aylesbury Enterprise Centre was launched just in time to catch the recent resurgence in the economy and the newly revived positive spirit now buzzing throughout the business community.

Since the launch, The Hot Office has received over two hundred enquiries for business support and services. Max Campbell, MD of The Hot Office, says "we are delighted with the activity around the Centre, it is a testament to Aylesbury's blossoming entrepreneurial spirit that so many young and growing businesses are actively seeking help to move their projects forward".

The Hot Office recently held a free evening seminar on Google Ad-Words and Sales Techniques aimed to help business owners get ahead of the competition in terms of professional sales techniques and developing an online presence. There are more free seminars planned for the year, you can join the mailing list to hear about the seminars and other local business events by completing the online business assessment at www.aeicentre.com

Aylesbury Vale Council in touch with what the needs of the Town

Word is getting around that we have something rather special going on here in the Vale, the Hot Office management team has been approached by three other local authorities with a view to providing a similar facility in their area. Often local people feel that Aylesbury is the forgotten relation of other towns in the county but this project has proved that the AVDC is thoroughly in touch with local business needs.

So how can The Hot Office help you? Have you recently started your business from home, are you now the Accountant, Sales Manager, Operations Team, Facilities Manager, Purchasing, Web Designer, IT Specialist and Receptionist all rolled in to one? Have you booked yourself on to every local course to fill your knowledge gaps in VAT and Web Marketing, joined the FSB and the Chamber of Commerce and signed up to umpteen networking groups in your area; bought-out most of PC World, Staples and Ikea with new kit for your home office and stayed up until 2am assembling flat-pack, installing software and untangling cables; phoned the local paper to tell them about your fabulous new idea that's going to change the world, safe in the knowledge they'll send their top reporter and photographer round straight away; fine-tuned your business plan with financial forecasts for the next three years and had a very encouraging meeting with the bank manager? Well that's the first week over, now it's down to the everyday business of running your business.

This illustration may be a little chaotic but is fairly representative of many new start-ups. However, very often the things that were exciting in the early days can become a hindrance a little further down the line. Learning new skills suddenly becomes a drain on your precious time, working from home becomes lonely and isolating, or perhaps children are causing a distraction . If any of this sounds familiar to you then a trip to The Hot Office may be just the tonic to reinvigorate your business, give you some guidance and help refocus your attention on doing what you set out to do in the first place; sell your brilliant idea.
